I understand that Rugby isnt a world wide game however i think EA should continue to make these games as they provide much satisfaction to their customers. Can EA atleast confirm or deny they have ceased production forever? If they continue to produce Rugby games i feel they should take on a carrer option. With the chance to coach a team such as the Waratahs during the Super 14 then move on to the Australian team for june/july tests against Italy, France etc. Then Coach Australia through the Tri-Nations / Bledisloe. Then they have a break and go on spring tour. If this happened along with a world cup every four years and player improvments / decrease ability the game would become more successful as major changes would have occured. I believe Rugby has the potential to be a great game however I feel sufficent time hasnt been designated to producing the game. On behalf of many rugby lovers, can you please let us know what is going on?
here here im a rugby league supporter and would love to see a league game but still love playing a union game on the ps so yeah would love to see ea make a new union game
EA Sports always uses the exuse that they do not want to make regional games. They want to make games that are 'global.' What I want to know, then, is why they continue to make American Football games, and basketball games and ice hockey games. Rugby is loved and played the world over, from Australia to Zimbabwe. Every continent has at least one competitive side. How many countries play American football I wonder? Cricket is doomed to suffer the same fate. Yet Rugby and Cricket are far more international sports than American football and ice hockey. The fact is that Rugby is a world wide game, the Rugby World Cup is the third biggest event in world sport behind the olympics and the soccer world cup. If that is not international enough for EA, nothing is.
Ok, the first post regarding the lack of rugby games was in December 09, it is now the end of Jan 2010 and EA still hasn't responded to any of our cries. Obviously they either don't care or they make enough money out of all the other sports games.
Lets face it they don't listen to the people who buy their games, as long as enough money comes in, they can care less about what games are made and what the consumer wants.
I own Rugby 08, I got hooked and was looking forward to 09....10 But no joy.
As EA employees rarely if ever read these forums, not surprised at a lack of response. Plus only 6 people posting they want the game is hardly a massive groundswell.

BF2 nic atomicali, I am not an EA employee. Xfire= acdcaliali. Checked http://support.ea.com for your problem?
I adree with the concensus if they continue the Rugby game and incorporated the features in Madden NFL of being able to continue through consecative seasons and representitive fixtures it would be a great seller. I enjoyed playing through the season and feel if there was the oppertunity to play on the the next season and beyond it would generate the world interest not just amongst the die hard Rugby fraternity.
Kia Ora every1, the potential of a vry good rugby game on ps3 has had me excited for ages, if EA arent listening maybe we should petition them. Remember the rugby world cup is only a little over a year away & this is the opportune time for them to make the game and especially now that the game is palyed a little faster. never has there been a better time to release a new Rugby game. Market the game in conjunction with the world cup marketing campaigns while the whole world is watching to maximise exsposure hence potentialy more sales. Come on ea, rugby is an awesome game because it has mini games or contests within the game itself give the game the attention and the respect it deserves.
